I seem to be unable of downloading .doc na .xls files. Until 4 days ago, it worked fine. What's the problem?

I am running Windows XP. Starting 4 days ago, I cannot lownload .doc and .xls files. I have other email providers and have no problem with them. What is my problem with Yahoo mail?
