Im 13 and im turning 14 in august. A couple of month ago, i told the girl i like that i liked her. I texted her and told her. she texted with only a couple of words. she didnt say anything mean. she was just like ok and oh... Then i texted her a couple of days later that i dont like her... Today was the last day of school. it weird tho cause we look at eachother for like a split second. We got our yearbooks and got them signed. I wanted to get it signed by her and she was walking around. i dont know if she was walking around to get near me. as soon as school started, she walked into my homeroom. we were looking a couple of times. im pretty sure that she wanted me to sign her book. i wanted to sign hers but i was a . as soon as school ended, she went up to me and asked me to sign it. i wrote "have a great summer theresa" and to be funny a drew a messed up heart over my name. on my book, she wrote the same thing "have a great summer. ur asian friend, theresa" with a heart. i looked at other peoples yearbooks and she didnt put any heart next to anything else. i havent texted her or really talk to her in such a long time. the last time i texted her was when i told her i didnt like her. apparently, shes going to a catholic highschool to... i feel like i wasted all my chances.............. i want to die right now...i can not talk to her at all in real life. i can to other girls but definatly not her... what do i do? if i should text her, wat should i text? Allow me to continue. The mother then calls social services immediately, explaining what has happened, only to be told that there is little, if anything that could be done in the way of prosecution, as the boy is 17 and it is an instance involving only the tongue kissing. Already being a given that she will call a counselor after speaking with social services, the man from social services, himself, explains that counseling is the other option. Naturally and afterward, the mother calls the counselor, who is very much in support of nurturing the daughter's emotional health amidst what has happened to her. A few short days later, the counselor visits with the mother and both daughters. All seems to be going well at this point...all things considered. Some two to three months later, the daughter again confides in her mother, explaining that her father has continued to take her around this boy and that it makes her extremely uncomfortable. The mother then calls back the same counselor, explaining what has happened where the father is concerned. The counselor states that it would be good for the daughter and her sister (as the sister shares these same feelings), to tell their father themselves (as opposed to coming from the mother), that they do not wish to go with him, for fear that he will take them around this boy. The counselor offers no further advice at this point. The mother ponders the thought awhile, but just doesn't feel quite right about it. You see, perhaps this would bode well, if the daughters were not in fear of making their father angry. In this case, the girls are afraid to tell him anything contrary, as he is emotionally controlling, actually, and this has everything to do with why the mother ever left him to begin with some several years ago. No comparison. Santo was one of the best 3B in the game when he played. He was overshadowed by Brooks Robinson and Eddie Mathews his whole career. Hernandez was a terrific hitter and fielder but not even close to the best 1B in his era. He was fortunate enough to play on alot better teams compared to Santo and playing in NY gave him ALOT of exposure especially during the playoffs. Santo played on alot of bad Cubs teams. Remember the CUbs didn't draw alot of fans back then. So his exposure was limited compared to Hernnandez playing in a completely different era and market.

Create own Dante's Inferno?

Hey guys. In English cl we are doing a project where we create our own Dante's Inferno with modern characters in our own circles of sin. We have to create 9 levels of sin and they can't be from the book (For example, no circle titled "Hoarders and Wasters".) Then we have to put modern characters in those levels of sin. People we think belong there. I can not think of any good sins or people though! I was planning on putting asinators in a circle, such as Marting Luther King Jr.'s in, and JFK's in. However, after that, I am stuck! Can you think of any good titles for circles or any good characters to put in circles? It doesn't have to be too serious. My friends parents mistreat her! What should I do?

My friend always tells me how much her parents hate her, and how they mistreat her. I was over at her house not long ago, and I could see clearly that she was correct. Recently, her parents made her move out of her bedroom and into a teeny tiny spare bedroom (which they were using as an office) so they could use her bedroom as their new office. My friend also doesn't even have a real bed. She sleeps on an itty bitty air mattress that is uncomfortable, and has a hole in it because her parents refuse to buy her an actual bed. She's also not allowed to do nearly anything. :/ She can't listen to certain music (even artists like Taylor Swift are "banned"), she can't put up posters in her room, and she has to wear the same clothes every single day almost because her parents won't buy her new ones (yes, sometimes she will wear the exact same outfit every single day of the week). She also told me her parents call her fat, tell her she needs to lose weight, etc. She is definitely not poor, her parents just refuse to buy her anything and refuse to provide for her. I feel really sorry for her, and I want to do something about it. I told my mom all about it, and my mom wants my friend to stay with us for awhile, but she can't because she's allergic to cats and we have cats. D: What else could I do about this situation?
